Biologist Gerard Passola has been working on trees since 1994. Mostly developing his work in consultancy on risk management and veteran trees (VETCERT), dedicated to formation of different aspects of arboriculture.

His expertise spans various aspects of arboriculture, including advanced techniques such as anchoring singular trees, tree relocation, veteran tree restoration, and soil improvement strategies. As the director of DoctorArbol, Gerard leads a network of professionals across Spain, delivering consultancy services and specialized tree care solutions.

DoctorArbol’s work is concentrated in Spain and Portugal, with additional collaborations and formation across Europe and America. Services range from tree services from Global Strategic Tree Plans for the entire city (San Sebastian Malaga, Cordoba, Marbella, etc.) to small or big tree population analysis to unique tree studies and restoration.
