Dr. Dirk Dujesiefken worked at the University of Hamburg for about 10 years and subsequently founded the Institute for Arboriculture, where he continues to work as a senior scientist, focusing specifically on tree biology, tree diseases, and arboricultural methods. He has been a professor of arboriculture at HAWK in Göttingen since 2005. Dirk Dujesiefken is the author of several reference books on tree care, such as “The CODIT Principle”, some of which have been translated into several languages.
